Well I decided to get the camera out today, sat right next to the tank.
And couldnt help but laugh as Banda came around her cave right up to start posing.

Here we are..also got a couple of shots of her cloaca area to check weither she is a SHE.xD
If you beg to differ please say so.

(GRAVEL WILL BE GONE IN A FEW DAYS..;) )

I thing SHE is a real beauty! She looks really great. So an Axolotl is still absent in my round;-)
Unfortunately, our house is not so big ( and My friend would otherwise soon strangle me :D) that I could put up one more tank. Although... if I would throw a sofa out, we would also have more place!

All one thing of the priorities! *lol*

very cute! you dont read gaunts ghosts by any chance do you? (in ref to the name?)

Thank you guys its nice to hear others good opinions.

Shelly, I dont read gaunts ghosts..I dont even know how I got her name xD

She's a poser alright. I know they're just salamanders looking for food but it's hard not to see cuteness in that face when she begs at you.

Lol she makes me laugh..When shes swimming around if she suddenly notices im watching she sinks to the bottom pretending she wasnt doing anything..Follows me around the tank as well.

Mum thinks axies are ugly... i think cats are more ugly then axies ...they smell bad too.

Yes, smell for smell axolotls win. I used to like cats but I once stayed in a house for a few days where the entire place was full of the stench of old and new cat pee. Ever since then I find it very difficult to like anything except kittens. My mother has two cats and they're delightful but I'll take axolotls, thank you.

Cool pic's. looks like your Axie is after something - a male so they can have little Axies maybe. She looks to be carrying a few eggs there ;). Happy none the less :D

Kia Ora Sinead

She truly is a thing of beauty.

Thanks click...you making her blush honest.

Yes NZAXIE, shes a very plump girl, just hope it eggs or fatness and not gravel..well see just put her in her tank today..with SAND!!!!!!
*dances*

Hehehe, she is so cute, she made me smile. What a cutie!Adorable!

:p certainly posing, hehe. Maybe she wants to be in Vogue Magazine :D

She has a friend now...still in quarintine though.
A pretty leucistic called Gypsy..but gypsy makes me really condradict the thought of Banda being a female.

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
