I have bred paramesotriton deloustali. People are encouraged to enroll to the studbook of paramesotriton deloustali and laoensis.

... like the right of course!

See you in Gersfeld, Paul

Hi

Hi Paul
Yeah, i am quite happy of the success. I got over 500 larvae out of 2 males and 4 females. So after Gersfeld I will be focus on rearing the juveniles of deloustali and laoensis ;)
Best greetings
Yago

Congratulations, Yago! What conditions did you use to get the adults to breed?

Thanks for the photo, Paul.

Last year I keep males separated with the intention to meet them with females and encourage breeding plus some territorial fights which seems to encourage males breedings. Unfortunately, my femels start laying egs before I put the males so I got hundreds of infertile eggs :(
This year I kept them together, I kept them over 20 grades for a month and separated individualy in tuppers since I was arranging new setups. Then I move them to the new setups at 15 grades temperature, breeding started. The aquarium is 130 cm long and each male keeps on one half and the females move around. Some fightings between males and males and females were seen but with no damage on any specimen. Females have being laying eggs for a bit more of 3 months. I will give moe details once I have time. (temperatures and light are also controlled).
Greetings
Yago

@Jennifer, same like in the kaiseri posting!
We need strong Newt Registers to minimize wild caught imports! So it was good to write:

"I have 500 larvae but only for people which join in Register"
