Wow, they are amazing! i really want that wildtype one. how old are they? What do you feed them to make them so chubby?
 
I had them off my friend who had gravel in the tank so i am praying he/she has not got a belly full of stone's lol.
I have not seen any in the tank so finger's crossed. :D
I think he is about 1 year old i will i think he is about 8inch long???:confused:

I am feeding him just meal worms at the min as mom felt bad feeding him Earthworms & freed them while i was at work in the back garden :rolleyes:

The 2 white one's are in the fridge they arnt doing so well :(

Leroy ( black one ) is a beast he will sit & eat all day lol

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
