Some people asked for info on my exhibit construction so here it goes.

Parts includes various pieces of PVC pipes, 1/2" to 6", a plastic dog food bowl, a few heavy plactic flowerpot trays and LOTS of silicone (GE 795,black my favorite and clear "aqarium" type). This fall will spill into a small pool and recycled back via a canister filter.

looks like quite a project, I look forward to further updates.

What type of amphibian is it going to be for?

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
