These two - Maxolotl and Eatsalotl, (of a family of 30 siblings I have) are exactly 3 weeks old, and about 1.5inches long

tell me about it, i fed all mine ,when i was breeding axies , on brins shrimp, unbelievable appetites!!
 
gosh, that brings back memories when my babies were that small. Now they have grown into mini eating machines. but i love em :)

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
