I decided once again when I was cleaning my tank, which takes forever to do with a 55gal, to change it up again. So here are some new pics, hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.

And as you can notice there is a red coke acola cup as a hidey. LOL family not happy I took their cup and took a screw driver and hammer and punched out the bottom of the cup and then melted the sharp edges. heheheeee all for a good cause........ MY BABIES ;)

Hi Terri,

What an explosion of color! And I didn't realize you were so handy with tools. :D

A woman equipped with a hammer and screwdriver is far more handy (and lethal) then a lot of men lol

You changed it again Terri! Oh my goodness, I really thought you would follow our examples and restrain yourself. ;)

It looks really great and I'm sure the family will forgive and forget on the cola cup thing - being for such a great cause after all... :uhoh:

And speaking of an explosion of colour - Ori and Pira are looking gorgeous!

Thanks all. Yes very dangerous to give me a hammer and screw driver. And Eva LOL to the pic, that was my tools for a long time and hubby got tired of the ends of the butter knives being all beat up. So he bought me a tool box and a ton of tools. But I still go back to the shoe and butter knife, easier to handle for me LOL

I think Ori is not happy with me, I woke up this morning to notice that Pira's one gill has most of the red feathers gone and is bent in half. I think Ori bit her. I feel so bad for Pira, the gills on Pira have always been long and full and now the poor thing has one white stick looking thing where there used to be beautiful full fluffy red feathery stuff. Hope it will grow back.

I did try to refrain from changing things around but just could NOT help myself. I am always looking at things laying around the house and thinking of how I could use it in their tank. hehehehe my kids have learned NOT to leave things layin around cause they will see me looking at something of theirs and they know the wheels are churning in my mind on how I could use it in the tank. LOL

Run, doggy, run!

Hey what can I say, I am creative when it comes to other peoples belongings. LOL

Very nice tank. Also, I like the colour of that golden albino axolotl.

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
