Hi, I have been around for the last few weeks, reading up on axolotls and getting my tank all set up.

So now that I'm all done and my baby girl (albino axy called Lacey :0D) is all settled in I thought I would post a quick hello thread to introduce myself, and to say thanks for the awesome info :0D

This site has been a wonderful help to me, and has been instrumental to me creating a great tank (I do have some pics, and will post them asap :0D).

Hi Amiedoll,

Welcome aboard! :D

PS. We are looking forward to seeing these pictures of Lacey and her home...

Thanks for the warm welcome :D I have put my pics on my pc, and am going to try to attach them, lol hope this works :D

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
