This is Olive who i've now had for over a week. In that time she's had worms, pellets and blood worms so she not a fussy eater. I going to get another axie at the end of the month once i swap tanks for a bigger one. Hope you like the pics, more to follow of the tank.

Dave

Dave, she is stunning - on the third picture, she looks a little like a tiny crocodile on the prowl - she has an adorable crafy look in her eye. I am insanely jealous :D

Olive is gorgeous! Such a cute, pretty lady. Her lovely face made me smile. Congrats on owning such a cutie :)

The first snap! She looks like she is smiling :D

Hi Dave,

Great looking axolotl, seems to have heaps of character.

Olive is such a pretty little lady. What a charming and yet mischievous face<3

I am hoping for boys, and I know I am going to name one Oliver. So if Oliver turns out to be female I am going to have an Olive too, haha.

Kenya,
If olive turns out to be a boy i will be naming it Popeye. lol

Beautiful axolotl. I particuarly like the shot where she has sand all over her face - what on earth has she been up to?

jaqc, that was the first pic in the tank, so she was crawling round the bottom exploring. She like's to play now first thing in the morning. Once i move her to a bigger tank i will get some toys and extra places to explore.

Olive looks great,nice photos.

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
