Hi guys just some new pics of my tank and my new Axolotl he a black green spotted wild type and he just ate 8 earthworms today and hes still hungry. Thinking of maybe calling him sneaky bc of the pic where he behind that pot, not sure yet. My big bronze spotted guy doesn't like this new situation and has been camping out in the pot for hours even though he double his size.

My tank set out for simplicity, bare bottom for cleaning a large luxury pot for decoration and plants for decoration and to hang in and do acrobatics, they love sitting in there it like a good hunting point for fish I reckon. Anyway enjoy, I hope to get some better pics of my dark wild type he not as photogenic as my bronze one.

Hi Zolotl,

I like your setup, I am sure you will find having no substrateto be a definately plus from the cleaning aspect.

wow cute axolotl!!!
lol a hungry axie is it :lick:
mines like that and shes fat lol:D

 Eight worms?! Wow, that's hard for me to imagine since my little guys can't even down half a good-sized earthworm.
Hehe, Sneaky sounds like an appropriate name based on the picture.
I like your simplistic tank setup. The edges of the entrance to the pot aren't too sharp, are they? (Was it made that way or did you crack one yourself?) Certainly looks very pretty.

I like the first photo. It looks like your axolotl is sitting in it's throne and watching over the tank!

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
