My first axie (the white) was named Sally by my girlfriend (Sally as in Sallymander, Salamander) and the male just had to be named Harry after that.
I had them in the fish tank when i got them and, if you have seen my other thread that obviously wasn't a good idea. Sally got her gills eaten and she (probobly) accidently bit Harry on his leg, peeling it from skin and he eventually lost his limb.
Now the legs is almost fully regrown, toes are coming out.

Here they are trying to steal some of the food i had given the snail so that he could have something else then digested shrimp.

Sorry for the bad quality.

Great looking axolotls, I like the contrast in colours.

Thank you. Harry's lost limb is shown in the 3rd picture. It's the back leg. As you see its a little shorter than the other legs but it basicly fully grown out... The toes aren't really showing on that pic but they are coming out :)

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
