Sunny appears to have pretty short gills, have they always been that "stumpy"?

Edit: Not paying attention.

Blaze appears to have short gills? My name is Blaze.. the axie is Sunny.

Yeah hes always had the stumpy gills. Most of them looked to have been chomped on earlier in life and have grown back funny. They look to be growing a little lately but no more than half a millimetre. I do not think they will ever grow to be long. probably just stay what they are now.

Haha, it's late here in the US. But I fixed the post. I would adore a golden axie to compliment my Wild Type and Albino!

Shizeric, I am sending you one (or some) goldens! : )

I posted some photos for you on my profile.

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
