Hi
Below is Charlie my melanoid axie. I have had him for 3 weeks and he seems to have settled in fine. To be honest if it was not for this website I dont know that he would have... when I bought him from a well known large uk garden centre they offered me no advice or guidance, thankfully I had done my research!

Thanks
Amanda + Charlie

Ps After further reading I am considering changing gravel.

Yeah, change that gravel or sooner or later you will be posting "HELP: My axie is off food and is floating around the tank"

Welcome to the world of Axies :)

Is he melanoid or wild type?

Looks Wild to me.

What a little cutie! Love the 2nd pic!;)

charlie is cute. i got my first axie a few weeks ago, and they suggested I use those glass stones on the bottom. they are too big for an axie to eat and they can get a grip on them to move around.

might help?

What a cutie!! Although he kinda looks like a wild type to me, too, but what do I know.

How cute. n.n

I just got a pair myself, a dark gray, and a pink. <3

Oh my gosh, he is a super cutie! :) Love him lots and he will be a good friend for years to come.

Charlie has such a great smile!
