Re: Mulder and Skully in there new tank

I'm sure they'll settle in in no time and love all the extra space to explore!

Hey
They are looking lovely!
And look like they are having fun exploring. They have a beautiful home, well worth the wait! :D

Cuties! They look like they are enjoying their spacious and fun new home.

Well they seem to have settled in, and re-arranged everything! I look at all the paw? prints in the sand and think they must have been over every inch, now they are chilling out next to each other which is a problem because I want to feed!

hi tom
your tank looks great...and your axies are very cute....the one hiding in the cave looks a bit cheeky

He is! and he know's he always gets his way, very lazy though he has realised i bring him food so why should he move!

They seem to have missed each other follow each other about every were

abby is cheeky she plays a game with my 1 year old son.....tyler runs down to the other end of the tank and abby follows him and then abby turns around and tyler chases her back.......it keeps them both happy for ages.....it is funny to watch

My two are waiting for dinner when I get home from work as soon as they get it they could not care less about me! they follow my finger a lot but the bad thing is they get bored before I do

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
