I just wanted to post a couple pics of the Cyanurus I adopted and a pic of the tank I have them in for now.

I really love the Cyanurus personalities.

Good looking cyanurus! (I like the setup too!) I am also a fan of cyanurus, they are hungry hungry hippos!

And speaking of fans C.cyanurus here I am!
Already we can form a social group. lol
Good luck with them!

They eat like pigs alright.

Joost, I have three right now that I took in from a member here. He is going to be moving and does not want to stress them out and risk any injuries so I opted to take them in.

I started with one a few years ago and he stuck around for a while. He was awesome so I got two more. Soon after I moved ( this was about a year ago ) I have no clue what happened but something went foul with our water supply and I lost all my aquatics overnight including my Tanganyikan Cichlids that I was breeding. We had a boil your water advisory but that came way to late:mad:

Now its water from the bottle.

I really enjoy watching these guys float around. They have great personalities and are very interactive with guests that watch them when they come over.

Soon they will be going in a 20 long or if I dare piss off the wife my 33 long.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
