Nicely coloured leucistic, not far off being piebald.

Jealous much!!

He's georgeous! Gonna come and steal him.... *creeps over*

Giles looks great. Lovely markings!

Thanks guys, we love him:happy:

Lovely markings for a leucistic! Should get even darker at it gets older, keep us posted.

Regards Neil

We are probably going back to the place we purchased him from ( 1.5 hour drive and worth every minute!) and getting a buddy for him. They have 4 left - golden, albino, gfp, wild type gfp. Decisions...decisions:confused:

Giles is doing great and we have entered him in the calendar contest. We also just recieved his new friend Ickus from Skilly which I will post a new thread later for him

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
