Also got a pic of my tank - getting a bigger one already and changed the filter - decided that was too big but this was from when i was setting up tank

What a lovely boy you have there :D are they both boys? It looks like you could end up with some eggs soon if not :p
 
I think the wild coloured is female - she is bigger than the male but has no male parts - LoL , I said i would end up with a room full... :p

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
