We are often accompanied by calling owls. Loudly I try to answer, I hope no one hears it. The owls often flying for miles with us while we see many beautiful Salamander, we have so much fun,

awesome. Thanks for sharing. Is this in the Solling? That second salamander almost looks like a S.s.salamandra with that pattern. I just love these guys. Love the yellow flowers too (Caltha palustris, Sumpfdotterblume?). Yellow flowers, yellow sals. Yellow, yellow yellow...

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
