Some better quality pictures, thanks to my neice's camera. Hard to get good pictures of the albinos, but they are looking nice, and the darker hatchlings seem to have some nice markings, then theres the juveniles, i've got four of those, they are leucistic, but also have some nice markings coming on, and finally got some nice pics of my big boy, glad to share with all.

I took the pictures using my neices blackberry camera phone, it has a flash, my blackberry don't have a flash and takes rubbish pictures. I was glad to see the quality as i've never been able to post good pictures of my hatchlings, and was able to catch their markings quite clearly. My big boy is a golden albino, his eyes are actually red/copper, but still, very happy with the pictures. Also forgot to mention, the pictures were taken just after a water change, and with lots of natural light too.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
