I have recently obtained a GFP Leucistic Axolotl. I didn't really want a GFP Axolotl, but when I saw her, she was just too cute. It is my first amphibian, and I was initially interested in Axolotl because I keep fish.
My little Axolotl Elouise (it might not be female, but I figure I have a 50/50 chance
) is supposed to be 8-10 months old. She seems small for her age, probably 4 inches, but she was being fed only bloodworms. Currently she is in a 7 gallon fluval, with a very low flow filter. I intend to do water changes twice a week and will upgrade her tank as she gets bigger. On top of the Axolotl, I have a 9 gallon Ehiem with a betta and ten green neon tetra, and a 75 gallon angelfish community tank...and two cats, Percival and Kramer.
