The video is of my new axolotls that I got from hacelepues! :D They're about 16 days old and are growing legs! Sorry about the quality of the video. =/ http://youtu.be/ZecDpmrF60Q

oops. Thanks I fixed that now!

I'm glad they're doing well! The way they "hop" when then eat is too cute.

Remind me, how many eggs did I give you? And how many of those hatched?

I know I love how the "hop" for bbs! You sent me nine eggs, all which hatched but one. Sadly, four died within the first couple of days. :( But the five that I do have are doing great!! In fact they have grown back legs!! Here's an updated video I took two days ago!

Oops I can't figure out how to edit this post, but you sent me 10 eggs, only one didn't hatch so I had nine babies. Then, sadly four died within the first couple of days. :( But the five that I do have are doing great!! In fact they have grown back legs!! Here's an updated video I took two days ago! Is what I meant to say.

Awww they look so good!

It looks like that one little wildtype is starting to recognize that you're the one who brings him yummy treats :) Shamefully begging at such a tiny size... it's hilarious.

I know!! It's cute and silly all at the same time! =D I love watching them grow!!

Here is an updated video and pictures of my axolotls! I can't believe how much they've grown!! :D I can't seem to take a pictures of the wild type two they swim too fast!! (By the way the light is only on when I'm taking pictures.)

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
