Hi all,
I have 8 P. Waltl larvae which are just over 2 weeks old. They are approximately 1.5 cm long and are feeding on small white worms. This morning, I noticed that one of the larva was hanging out between the aquarium glass and the ammonia sensor, so I took the opportunity to take some macro shots. Much to my surprise, I managed to capture a short video of his 3-chambered heart beating! You can also see his intestines full of white worms.. Here's a link to the video, in case anyone is interested: Spanish Ribbed Newt larva's heart beating - YouTube
