It's crazy watching them lay eggs. I've seen my girl go upside down with a plant in a vice grip between her legs haha
Be sure to feed her lots of good food after! I usually feed mine every 2-3 days, but when my female lays, I feed her daily for about a week.

She was laying till late last night an didnt want a worm but this morning she was sat waiting for food she eat 3 big worms an 2 cubes of bloodworm :lick: got them 2 new plants for there tank to for been such good lotties

Clareclare:Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?+1
