I know, I know... This is where we post the cute pictures of our axolotls. I used to have a couple of leucistic axolotls but it has been several years since I have been able to keep any since I move around so much. I found myself really missing those cute little critters today and threw this little guy together in a couple hours. I thought it would get a laugh out of a few of you haha. This is my new axolotl until I am able to finish moving and set up a tank.

Cute! Just don't start talking to it, that would be slightly worrying. ;)

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
