Hey all, I got these plants a while ago and I would love to get more, but have no idea what they are to be honest. One looks like it would be great for newt egg laying (pic 1)

The third picture is Tropical Hornwort. (Ceratophyllum submersum) The first one I have seen before but forget and the second looks like a type of Cryptocoryne. There are like 50+ species. You will need a better picture and someone more into plants than me but i could be C.wendtii. That's very common.

For the first picture, I would have guessed a species of sword plant (Echinodorus sp.), although I can't tell what kind.

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
