Cynops pyrrhogaster.

I thought i'd post a few recent snaps, the males are getting quite blue and the females are very fat!

Well, my original group of four pyrrho's has become more of a herd at the moment! One of my adult males and a yearling female have moved on to pastures new, but I still have seven aquatic juveniles sharing a tank with my three remaining adults. As soon as i can be certain of their sexes most of the juveniles will be looking for new homes, but it's not going to be easy parting with them!

I have to "juvies" that have been "waiting to go to their new home soon" for over two years....
At first i thought it was the new owner's fault for being lazy, now i wonder if the newts are controlling everything....*twitch*

Yeah, there's enough of them now to start an animal farm type revolution, especially if they join forces with the snail battalions! I know I'm a terrible paranoid conspiracy theorist, but that doesn't mean there are no conspiracy's! :p ;)

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
