I bought 2 baby axolotls(leucistic and albino) about 3 weeks ago & they were doing fine until this week. The Leucistic was accidentally over fed & threw up a little bit of worms. I also noticed a little bit of poop out of his butt, I assumed he was constipated since he looked a bit chubbier. I also noticed he had his liver(Assuming) a bit bigger but he then eventually pooped everything but is refusing to eat. He doesn't have any signs of stress & the albino looks completely healthy. I feed them frozen bloodworms every other day now, but the leucistic is refusing to eat for the past 3 days & I'm a little concerned about his "liver" being a little too big or it's just me? PH level is 7.6 & temperature about 60-70F. We added water conditioner yesterday due to fear of high ammonia levels. I have big rocks, artificial plants, and hideouts for them.

Thanks

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
