Complete novice to aquariums and even more so Axolotls! But thanks to the info on this forum, we've successfully cycled our tank (painstaking 7 weeks) with the kids keep asking me 'Dad....when can we put the Axolotls in?' And today we've finally added our new additions.
They were purchased from an extremely ropey pet shop in Birmingham UK. The guy in there basically said I was a fool for cycling an aquarium for Axolotls 'they basically live in swamps, it don't matter what level nitrites are' luckily I'd already done all my homework.....
Anyhows....here's Apple-bubblegum and Toothless. They are brilliant, really cool to watch them do their thing!
