Hello Everyone!
Just want to say this website has been so useful to me since I got my Axolotl in April this year. Thanks!!
My Axolotl was 18 months old when I got him (I think he is a he anyway) I've litterly been finding everything out off here and have read that the bulge under his tail means he is a boy my daughter had named him Luna before we knew what sex he was haha.
I am posting today because for the last two weeks his tail has turned a pink colour and occasionally looks quite dark. I have read this is to do with blood pressure and is normal but an eye should be kept on it. Nothing has changed with his environment I guess I just need some reassurance that he is 'ok' we love the little chap and don't want anything to happen to him
