New to Axolotls

How's it going! My name is Adam, these are my two axies Ruby and Rose! Rose is the one in the log, she loves to pose for pictures. My girlfriend got them for my birthday and I've had them for a about a month now. They were shy at first, but now they are always out exploring their 50 gal tank and wait by their dish for food when they are ready to eat! Ruby likes to play peek a boo and peeks over things at me when I hide from her. They love their plants and hidey holes.

This is the first time I have ever owned or had any sort of aquatic pets, so as you can imagine I am researching every little thing I can to make sure they are well taken care of. I figured as much as I am reading the forums here, I might as well make an account. These little things make me so happy and I am glad I get to share them with you all!

They are crazy addictive!! 2 becomes 26 really fast
