When I purchased my tiger salamander, Dim Sum, last year I chose them because they were largest specimen that the vendor had. However, within a few days I realized that Dim Sum also has some of the most ornate and beautiful "tiger stripe" patterns I've seen. Despite not exactly being a cuddly companion, this cutie has managed to be the ultimate lockdown buddy. 2020 would have been so much harder without Dim Sum around to cheer me up when I was otherwise cut off from the world.
