Hello, I have recently bought this Sirup or whatever it is.. it’s a „pill“ for fishes when they are sick.

The only problem is; I don’t know if it’s save for axolotls..😅 will it make them sick? Or will it help? Whatever it is, please tell me if you know this thing and if it’s save

U can see what it contains on the last photo, but sadly I can’t translate it since it’s in German.

You can use Google to translate. If you go open the google app there is a picture button where you can either use the camera function or upload the photo and use the translator option :) I've used it many times and works very well!

no it isn't safe as it contains copper sulphate and malachite green.
May I ask what what it could do to an axolotl? My dad resists that it’s bad for them!

Also, are these bloodworms good for them? They’re not frozen and are alive..

Malachite green and copper sulphate are toxic chemicals to amphibians. Both of these are copper alloys and should be avoided for amphibians. It is well documented that copper is incredibly toxic to amphibians due to their higher sensitivities.

As for live bloodworms, check for parasites, but they should be an okay treat otherwise as long as there are no other weird ingredients.

live bloodworm are fine for young axolotls but can soon become quite expensive as axolotls are voracious eaters.

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
