1st ever homemade enclosure

So recently I made my own enclosure super fun for me. I wish i did better job on making the glue/silicone less noticeable on division of acrylic. I have 2 eastern tigers in here and hadnt realized how much 1 of them wants to be a axolot. 1 spends majority of time swimming and bobbing in water while the other one mainly stays on land & in the event he falls in water it acts like it just fell into vat of acid or something scrambling to get back on shore

That's so interesting, I've never kept Tiger Salamanders, but I thought they were completely terrestrial.

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
