Hi, all. I haven't really seen any threads on tailed frogs so I thought that I would post a picture of a tailed frog tadpole in situ.

In Washington state these tadpoles are immediately identifiable by the presence of a large suckermouth that they use to cling to the rocks of fast-moving streams. The whit spot at the end of the tail is also a hallmark feature. These were present in conjunction with some Dicamptodon.
