Feeding pixie frog

I'm having trouble getting my pixie to eat anything besides crickets. I tried night crawlers in smaller pieces ( inch and half) of course, everytime he went to get it his aim was so off he never got it. Then yesterday i got a couple smaller feeder fish he only tried once. I put about a quarter inch of water in a medical basin. Thats what i seen in videos on youtube I would like some input. He does eat about 15 large crickets a night. He's not starving but I need to get him other nutrients other than crickets.

Yes, important to add variety, high calcium foods. Keeping the animal hungry invariably works; they can adjust metabolism to food avaiability, staving off hunger for awhile, but the frog will give in eventually. please see this article (2 Parts) for some ideas on food items. Hi Frank,
Thanks for the post since I posted that I have got him to eat butter/wax worms, meal worms, I tried feeder fish but we didn't have any luck but we will keep at it. He's doing awesome.

Great, thanks for the update. Best to easy on mealworms, they are not ideal. Fish best offered via tongs, or in bowl with just a bit of water to keep them wet. Pl keep me posted, enjoy, Frank

One of my Bullies is a monster for eating, he will sometimes go off his food for ages and only eat roaches!
