Hatchlings with reflective pupil

I recently got some eggs that just hatched a few days ago. They look like some lucies and some melanoids. Some of the lucies appear to have reflective pupils others have solid black eyes. Curious if these are actually lucies or not. One of the parents is melanoid het for copper axanthic the other is a spotted melanoid.

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
