Help finding a paper on Laboratory raising C. pyrrhogaster.

A while ago I read a paper on the problems of raising C. pyrrhogaster (I think it called them Japanese common newts) through the terrestrial juvenile stage under laboratory conditions. The solution was to somehow postpone metamorphosis until the larvae were adult size, that way they would stay in the water all their lives and could be raised in large numbers on pellets alone.
Anyway, I'd like to read it again, but I can't find it for the life of me. It was a Japanese paper but was written in English. Does anyone know what I'm going on about?
