Can anyone identify this frog? Is it really a bull frog?

Location: Palo Alto, California, USA

That is a pacific treefrog,I used to find them around that location(palo alto,ca)but in recent years they became harder to find.
 
heay, pacific treefrog, i dont know where you got bullfrog from, look t up, mullfrogs are big and totally different.
youe got a hylid there a tree frog, bullfrogs are ranids, truefrogs.
and that particular one is the frog known to actually "ribbit"
 
Hi Pin-pin,

definetely Hyla regilla, the Pacific tree-frog. I found it all along the West-coast. They sometimes breed in the same ponds as the Tarichas. So tadpoles of them and the Taricha larvae share the pond and the small tadpoles are probably food for the newt larvae.

Did you ever see the California Treefrog down in the Anaheim area? I'd be interested if you have any good locations to see one.
