I found a insect that looks kinda like an under water centipede. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? Its bout three inches long and has pincers on one end i think its his head. And it moves around alot and fast.

I found several creatures similar to that discription here in Southern California. I would like to know what they are too.

Re:

Yea it looks crazy but I wonder if my tiger could eat it?

Could you post a picture? Perhaps someone on this site would know if it were a safe insect for a Tiger Sal to eat.

Re:

Well I dont have a way to post a pic, but it looks just like an underwater centipede thats about the best description i can provide.

I wouldnt trust a wild creature (espeially with large mandables) with my salamanders. It may have some kind of parasites. I've never heard of them being fed to anything, so I wouldnt even risk it.

there is another post here posted after yous about hellgrammite it contains a pic i would take a look
