Just a bit of information for you Nebraskans and for you traveling Field Herpers:

1. You must have a valid Nebraska Fishing License
2. Applicable law is Nebraska Administrative Code Title 163 Chapter 4 Pages 92 through 92c
3. Scientific Permits are available

For the Applicable law can be accessed here;

http://www.sos.ne.gov/rules-and-reg..._and_Parks_Commission/Title-163/Chapter-4.pdf

Pages 111 through 115 of the PDF file contain the above stated regulations.

I am writing the state to find out the procedures and fees for Scientific permits. I will update when I have more information.
