I see a lot of bad news (and post a fair bit of it myself). But I have some interesting good news.
Before Christmas, I rescued an axolotl (talked to the pet store and it turns out he was surrendered). He needed TLC. All I did was feed him properly (he was apparently on FISH FLAKES), make sure he had clean water, and more space. He's growing and recovering well. He is still blind in one eye though but I don't think I can fix that.
