I keep four Occidozyga Lima with eight African Dwarf Frogs, as someone I know has kept them together for 2 years. I recently put in 12 ghost shrimp and 5 cherry shrimp with them to clean and such. I knew the floating frogs might eat them, as I have fed a few dead ones to them before.

Two days later, there are 11 shrimp missing. I feed all my frogs frozen bloodworms, and hand feed them to the floating ones until they are full. I expect some of the casualties would be some snacking, but that's a lot for four frogs.

Is it possible that the ADF's are also eating the shrimp? They weren't full sized, but I didn't think the ADF's were capable of eating something that large.

It's no big deal, I don't mind losing the shrimp. The ghost shrimp at least are cheap. If they really are eating the shrimp, and enjoying it, I'll set up a separate breeding tank to make some babies for them. Or at least keep much more than 12 in there at a time.
