Hi! I had an accidental clutch about a month ago and now the babies are starting to look like actual axolotls. There are 3 that I suspect may either be piebalds or mosaics, really pretty, but I'm not sure what to do with them? I've reached out to some of the pet stores in my area that sell axolotls, and they're willing to take the babies as a "surrender" but I'd rather not give away for free something that might be worth a decent amount. What other ways are there to sell baby axolotls I can't keep?

You won't be able to tell at this age what their pigment will be like. They are too young

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
