Red eft/ newts

Is it legal to own newts in Pennsylvania ?Does anyone know where you can buy them .
I am interested in a Red eft or Eastern Newt and I’m pretty sure it is illegal to catch and keep wild ones in Pennsylvania.
I checked Backwater Reptiles and another on line sites and they are all out of stock.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, almost all Eastern Newts are wild caught because they take so long to mature into adults.
Your best bet to get a captive bred one is on the forums here.
