I am going to Rochester New York in a month or so, and i am hoping to find some reds, marbleds, spotteds, newts, Jefferson, blue spotted salamanders or anything else. I have find found almost all species of salamander in CA as well as many rare reptiles. If anyone has any spots for these, i can trade you spots for just about any salamander in ca. Neotonic coastal giants, red bellie and California newts you can find year round, arboreal, rare subspecies of ensatina, northwestern salamander, ca tiger salamander, collared lizards, rattlesnakes and a bunch else. Please get back to me

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
