In case you're wondering what the animals in the wallpaper images are, here are the answers. If you're not sure what I mean, scroll down to the bottom and click the slider button beside where it says "Caudata Salamandra".
  1. Fire Salamander, Salamandra salamandra beschkovi.
  2. Barred Tiger Salamander larva yawning, Ambystoma mavortium mavortium. No, it's not an axolotl.
  3. Hypomelanistic Barred Tiger Salamander larva, Ambystoma mavortium mavortium. Again, it's not an axolotl.
  4. Marbled Newt Male, Triturus marmoratus.
  5. Blackchin Red Salamander, Pseudotriton ruber schencki.
  6. More to come!

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
