WOAH!! Strange Leopard Frog Corpse (Disturbing Image!)

WHOA! That's CRAZY! Yes, I would guess you are correct; I can't think of any other plausible explanation. Kind of like the cow killings blamed on the chupacarba; the cow carcasses bloat in the sun and eventually... well, explode.
 
That's awesome! I've never seen gas build up like that.
 
The gas buildup and explosion could have happened after it died too. Well, I kinda hope it was dead already the moment its guts turned into a hot air balloon...

may I go in a gentler way when my day comes.....:eek:
 
DANG!!!!! He looks like he is wearing one of those inflatable Halloween sumo costumes. Poor thing.:(
 
I could just imagine a bunch of kids finding this dead frog. Someone eventually caves into poking it with a stick, pierces the skin and they all run away screaming from the smell.

I can't imagine a frog being alive in this state. It would certainly interfere with it's ability to breathe and circulate blood. It does show how elastic their skin is.
