Hello my name is William and i've had a fascination with amphibians ever since I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are finding American toads on my grandfather's property. As a few years passed and my parents divorced I would spend my summers with my father who always lived near lakes and trails. Catching bullfrogs by myself since there were not other children around.
Now I am in my thirties living in the metro-Detroit area of Michigan.Working in an industrial setting. In the last couple of years my love for amphibians has reignited. The city life with all the noise and pollution depresses me
But my newts are theraputic and help me feel connected with nature.
My first newt was a female California newt who I still have. As well as other species I aquired while at Tinley lasy year.
Looking forward to learning as much as I can about these beautiful creatures :)
