I'm just curious as to whether or not it can be done...or if it's even worth it.

That's how mine are kept. 10 gallon tank green water tons of daphnia and blackworms covering the bottom of the tank with only a slow air trickle going to a small world filter and everybody's happy.

It can be done I keep a hundred and fifty gal tub outside that I collect from during the warm months.

Are you talking about feeding both black worms and daphnia???

Hi KaeGji, can you be more specific? Are you looking to culture them together in the same container?

Sorry, yea I'm looking to culture them both in the same container...I'm thinking 3 10 gallons with daphnia and blackworms in each. I plan to use the daphnia to fed baby axies and the blackworms to feed juvies. I have red wigglers for adults.

I just wanted to know if it was possible...would the blackworms eat the epiphia?

No, the black worms won't actively try and catch and eat daphnia

Though if it got to cold and they started laying egg cases, I'm not actually sure if they would go after those. As long as you kept it warm enough, wouldn't be a problem.

cool, thanks
