Hello Caudata. I want to know if anyone has ordered white's tree frogs through Ward's science supplies (Amphibian Living Specimens | Ward's Science) or its Canadian branch Boreal (Amphibian Living Specimens | Boreal Science). They seem to source from VWR, which is a very reputable science equipment/consumables supplier. I am a biochemist, so I was quite pleased by their primary source, but that doesn't mean that the provisioned animals are of good quality. I was lead to them as the price is probably the best I've been able to find for White's Tree Frogs at ~$100 CAD+shipping for 3 live specimens. I doubt they are wild caught as Australian species are very well regulated. What are your thoughts?

Edit: Found out that it is a mix of captive bred and wild caught, a mixed bag. Not going forward with something like that.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
