Breeding help!

Hello everyone, so i have a male fire salamander like 4 to 5 months, and 3 days ago, i acquired a female, at first sight i actually think she's pregnant.. But yesterday, i put the male on the female tank and he just run under her, like 4-5 min of ''dancing'' under the female, she just run away from him, he make that move like 3 or 4 times, but after some minutes she's just run away.. Maybe already pregnant with fertilized eggs? I know he wants the female, but i don't know if she wants him lol I will leave a hoto of the female

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
